It's great to see your site still kicking on after all this time. I haven't got a PS3 or PSP yet, and despite the lack of new PS2 games coming out, I still check out the site most every day.
Just a quick question for you about the new 40GB PS3. What do you mean when you say it has no memory card slot? Do all save games for PS3 go directly to the hard drive now? Was the memory card slot only used for PS2 games?
Thanks very much mate, and keep up the great work.

Good to hear from you... All PS2 and PS3 games save to the HDD, and some PS3 games cache data there as well. The memory card slow allows you to put say a SD card into the system to view photos from - it's not a PS2 Memory card slow. With its removal you will now have to use a USB memory card reader to access files on SD or CF card etc to view on your TV.
What has happened to Eight Days?
G. Contos - August 6, 2007
Eight Days was the tech demo by Sony showing a petrol station blowing up and car getting destroyed by gunfire. When it was shown at E3 2006 it really was only a demo, but a game was promised and is in development. We believe it is still in development but probably still too early and undeveloped to be shown - it certainly won't be released this year. Sony may be saving the game for the Leipzig Show in a couple of weeks time.
I was just wondering about Buzz junior : Robojam who is doing the comentary/ voice over, because the Buzz junior : Jungle Party one had liz b.... in and it got a litle annoying after a while , it was more the words that were said then nething else ok yellow for instance is at the bottom but there was no need to rub it in. Tho i can brush this off now i am just not a fan of the voice, is it different?

I haven't played for a few months, but I'm pretty certain it was almost identical... If you go into stores like Electronics Boutique they will put the game on for you to try, or they have a return policy (if you're in Australia) so you can take it back if you don't like it in the first 7 days or so.
Can you tell me when there will be a PS3 price cut? Will we see it at E3?
L. Wilson - July 29, 2007
I recently bought a Playstation 2 off eBay and also a 32mb memory card (instead of buying several for each of my children). I presumed that it would work. It has saved Sims (1400kb) and a Tony Hawks (14kb & 132kb) when the kids try to play the games it says the memory card is full. This just isn't correct & it therefore wont save anything else. The people I bought it from are asking if the system is compatible with this card I have no idea. It saved initially so I would think yes. Can you help me?
It depends where you live. If you're in America you're in luck with the 60GB unit being cut from $US599 to $499. It sounds good but in the days after this was announced it was confirmed that the 80GB unit would be released in August for $599, and the 60GB unit would be phased out over time. In Australia and Europe there's no price cut - but we are getting a sweet deal. The PS3 starter pack will include the 60GB PS3 unit, two Sixaxis' controllers, Motorstorm and Resistance: Fall of Man for the current price of $AU999.95. This will be valid from August 1 to September 30.

Why isn't E3 on this year? I've seen nothing about it this month yet?
It doesnít sound right at all. Probably the best thing to do is to start up the Memory card manager (take the discs out of the PS2 and turn it on) and browse the card to make sure there arenít other save files on there. If there are delete them. You should also be able to format the memory card from the configuration menu Ė if so you may want to do that. I have a 32mB card here and indeed it should hold a lot more then that. My guess is the card my be used, and there are old save files on there.

I have just bought a ps1 game but have ps2. When I put the game in it comes up in audio mode how do I change that so I can play the game?
The E3 show has been moved from a May event to July. It has also been reduced in size with very limited participation with much smaller booths, fewer attendees (around 5,000) and with some companies not attending. The show was getting too big with companies spending millions to build their booths alone, and thousands of attendees that didn't really belong there. Will this change? I don't know - wait until July.
Thanks for the help

It sounds like it's a faulty disc - it should come up in the menu as a PS2 disc at least. I would recommend trying it on a friends machine, or return it to the store.
Got a question for you. The game Kaido Racer 2, which only seems to be available through Games Warehouse, seems to have crashed and burned. Any idea why ?. Even Games Warehouse have discontinued stocking it, but I want to get one before no one has a copy. Is the game no good?
Anyway, keep up the excellent work.

I believe itís probably sold out by now. Atari didnít bring the game into Australia in large numbers and youíre best bet is through the Internet on EBay, or at an Electronics Boutique store. I did play the game and to be honest, itís pretty average. Thereís a lot better racing games available on the market at the moment. Midnight Club 3 Remix and NFS Carbon are two quite good arcade styled games.
