How does the price of a skin come about?
The value of a skin depends on a large number of factors and trading with them is so complex that we cannot go into all the details here. To find your way in the world of CS:GO skins, you need years of experience in the field.
Collectors and skins traders attach great importance to the condition and floats of skins. The higher the float value, the more worn a skin is. This is roughly divided from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, but the float values responsible for this from 0.00 to 1.00 are decisive for the value of the skins. For example, 0.00 to 0.07 would be a Factory New version, 0.07 to 0.15 would already be Minimal Wear.
In addition to the float value, particularly valuable stickers can drive up the price of a skin. In our example picture below, an AK-47 Redline which in StatTrak and Factory New only achieves a price of maximum $ 178 with the addition of LGB Katowice 2014 stickers suddenly reached a value of $ 3,771. Stickers, such as the iBUYPOWER Katowice 2014, can achieve values up to $ 12,660. However, since we do not want to have 10 Dragon Lore AWPs with different sticker variations in our ranking, we will not include skins with stickers.
